10K reward offered for information on stolen 'irreplaceable jewellery'

A REWARD of up to £10,000 is being offered for the recovery of ‘irreplaceable items’ stolen during a burglary near Kenilworth.

A gold wedding ring, diamond engagement ring, and a rare ladies watch were among the haul taken from a home in on Red Lane in Burton Green on Tuesday February 21.

Electronic goods, two sets of car keys and other jewellery belonging to a late relative and holding sentimental value were taken.

A reward of up to £10,000 is available for information received by crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers within three months that leads to the safe return of the stolen items.

Crimesstoppers regional manager Pauline Hadley said: “Burglaries cause immense distress to victims who are forced to deal with the aftermath of having their home invaded and incur the loss of often sentimental, important items.

“This is a particularly upsetting case where several irreplaceable items belonging, or bought by, a late relative have been stolen.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crimestoppers anonymously using the online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling on 0800 555 111.
