AN ECO-FUN day in Leamington aims to get people thinking green.

Sustainable living charity Action 21 is organising the event in the Pump Room Gardens on Sunday may 7, together with a walk and cycle along the recently completed Riverside Walk between Leamington and Warwick.

The walk and cycle sets off at 11am from St Nicholas Park in Warwick and people are urged to visit www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/eco-fun-day-tickets-32041755754 to register for the free event.

The fun day, sponsored by Chiltern Railways and BMW Rybrook, will include various activities and environmental displays.

Action 21 chair John Armstrong said: “ We want to get our environmental education message to a wider audience and decided to plan something that would appeal to the whole family. We are also aiming to promote environmental initiatives from simple activities like choosing to walk or get on your bike, recycling at home and in the office – to the more innovative, green technology such as the latest electric vehicles.”
