Man left with broken wrist after assault in Warwick

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was left with a broken wrist following an assault in Warwick.

The 54 year-old man had been for a night out and was walking home at around 11pm on Saturday (June 17).

He walked past a group of men in the front garden of a property on the junction of Millers Road and Wedgnock Green. An altercation occurred between him and two members of the group, which resulted in the man being assaulted.

He went to hospital where he was treated for a broken wrist and cuts to his arms.




A 22 year-old man and a 40 year-old man, both from Warwick, have been arrested and released under investigation.

Police are calling on anyone with information to contact them on 101 or call 0800 555 111 to speak to Crimestoppers anonymously.
