Green-fingered folk spruce up Myton Hospice gardens

Leamington Editorial 5th Jul, 2017   0

GREEN-FINGERED folk from M&S rolled their sleeves up to help out at a Warwick hospice charity.

Staff spent a day volunteering to spruce up the gardens at Myton Hospice. Sapling trees and flowers were planted, and raised beds weeded, turned and replanted – between the showers.

The Warwick store has chosen Myton to be its corporate charity for the next two years and hope to raise £20,000 as well dedicating man-hours to support its upkeep.

M&S manager Wesley Kachela said: “We’ve had around 15 volunteers working to rejuvenate the gardens to make them even more enjoyable. Myton is close to the community’s heart with everything they do to support people and their families. It’s a very emotive organisation to be in touch with.”
