A CARE home in Leamington is set to be turned into homes and apartments.
The former Victoria Nursing Home on Kenilworth Road will be demolished and have three apartments and four townhouses built in its place.
Developer Space GK has been granted permission to start work by Warwick District Council.
It comes despite concerns from residents about the size of the buildings, noise disruption and loss of light.
But the developers say the work will be in keeping with the area and add much-needed housing in the town.
