POLICE are keen to speak to the people captured on CCTV footage at the time of a robbery at a Shell garage in Southam.

The robber struck at the garage on Banbury Road on May 15, around 5.30am

He emerged from a toilet in a facemask and wielding a baseball bat before demanding money from the member of staff.

The man went behind the counter but fled when the staff member pressed the panic alarm.

On his way out he demanded money from a customer and took 50p before running down the side of the garage.

Police investigator Roger Hazlewood said: “We’re keen to speak to anyone who recognises any of these males as we believe they may have information vital to our investigation.”
