FIVE men smashed a car window and attempted to steal the vehicle’s contents before they were disturbed by a police officer.
The Ford Fiesta was parked in a car park in Baxter Court when it was targeted just before midnight on Friday (December 1).
Five men broke the car window when an officer arrived on the scene.
The men then fled.
A 23-year-old man from Coventry has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted theft of a vehicle and possession of a Class B drug. He has been released under investigation.
