RECYCLING has resulted in a £650 donation to Myton Hospice.
The cash came from Warwickshire County Council’s Slim Your Bin campaign which encourages households to reduce their waste and to recycle more.
Since its launch, over 600 residents in Warwickshire have signed up to the campaign and have taken steps to reduce waste and increase recycling, by taking actions including reusing items, reducing food waste and minimising junk mail.
Every 12 months the borough or district with the most points wins £650 for their chosen charity, and Myton Hospice was picked this time by top performing community Nuneaton and Bedworth.
