CONCERT pianists Julian Hellaby and Sarah-Beth Briggs will be performing at Warwick School in memory of an old boy.
The concerts, on February 22 and March 1, will mark the centenary of pianist Denis Matthews who attend Warwick School in the 1930s before gaining a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music.
Julian and Sarah-Beth were two of Denis’s proteges, and both will play works by him at the two concerts, along with works by
Beethoven, Bach and Mozart among others.
Both concerts will be held in the Pyne Room and will start at 7.30pm.
