ENVIRONMENTALISTS cleaned up in Sydenham.

Sydenham Together Action Group (STAG) held a litter pick and filled nearly 30 bags with rubbish from along the canal and Whitnash Brook.

Volunteers also cut back overgrown hedges and helped maintain the new planters on Sydenham Drive.

STAG is lead by Coun Jojo Norris together with volunteers at the Sydni Centre. It is open to everyone in South Leamington.

And a new group tackling litter in Brunswick will be launched on Sunday February 17, at the Rainbow Arch in Shrubland Street, at 2pm.

The newly formed Brunswick Action Group will be helping Friends of Eagle Rec litter pick the recreation ground.

Everybody is welcome and bags and litter picks will be provided.
