PARKINSONS, one of Leamington’s best known shops, has closed its doors.
The Regent Street clothing and footwear retailer has been a fixture in the town for decades.
A note on the door reads: “A big thank you to all our lovely and loyal customers. This store is now closed.
“Fear not this will not be another coffee bar. Our friends Seasalt (women’s clothing retailer) will be opening shortly.”
No reason has been given for the closure.
Parkinson’s footwear shop, The Boot Room, also in Regent Street, remains open, as does its store in neighbouring Stratford.
The firm, established in 1894, also continues to trade online.
