LOCAL artists will be brushing up their skills across the county.
Warwickshire County Council has approved £150,000 in funding to create attractive spaces encouraging shoppers to visit towns while enabling social distancing.
The ‘Art Challenge’ project is being held alongside Coventry City of Culture 2021 and is part of a bid to boost the local economy while supporting small businesses.
Council deputy leader Peter Butlin said: “We’re delighted to approve the funding for the Art Challenge and add it to the comprehensive package of support for businesses that is underpinning our plan for economic recovery.”
