COUNTER terrorism police have charged a man from Leamington with firearms offences following a raid.
West Midlands Counter Terrorism detectives executed warrants at two properties in Leamington on Monday (February 15).
Ben Styles, age 23 from Plymouth Place has been charged with firearms offences.
He will appear before Coventry magistrates today (Wednesday) accused of possession of a component part of a prohibited weapon and ammunition, and possession of Class A drugs.
Detectives say the arrest was intelligence led and they were joined by the explosives unit as a precaution.
