ROYAL Leamington Spa Cycling Club rider Emile Glorieux finished fourth in round six of the Abingdon Race Team Summer series.
Racing in the Category 3 race at Dalton Barrack, Glorieux ended the competitions in fifth overall.
A strong and very disciplined set of cyclists from Team Onyx were able to control and dominate the race. Halfway through the race three of the Team Onyx riders successfully broke away from the bunch, but two of them later fell back, and to protect their lead rider, they marked all breakways from other teams.
This closing down of the race meant a bunch sprint to try and get second place at best and Glorieux crossed the line in fourth.
