LEAH Gunton has been announced as Royal Leamington Spa’s first England Boxing coach.
Gunton is the only woman within the local area to have won gold at the Women’s Winter Box Cup – a major international competition for female boxers held by England Boxing.
And Gunton has won a gold and two silver medals in the sport and has inspired countless young females to become involved with boxing and work with the community.
Despite working and attending university, Gunton still finds time to train at least five days a week.
Her club – Leamington Amateur Boxing Club – are delighted by the news and stated they feel lucky to have her as part of their team.
