DANNY Quartermaine secured an eighth successive win in the professional ranks with a comfortable points victory against Lithuanian fighter Simas Volosinas.
Quartermaine, fighting at lightweight, improved his record to 8-0 at Sports Connexion in Coventry as he won all four rounds to triumph 40-36 on the scorecard.
And the Leamington boxer brutally picked apart his experienced opponent as he landed big shots in all four rounds.
The Cleary’s Boxing Gym fighter was cheered on by close to 400 vocal supporters and showed his potential with a dominant performance from start to finish.
Quartermaine has won two of his eight fights by knockout and looks set to contend for a British title in the not too distant future.
