DANNY Quartermaine is busy preparing for his ninth professional bout against a yet to be announced opponent in Birmingham at the start of May.
Quartermaine (8-0, 2 KO) trains at Cleary’s Boxing Gym in Leamington and is set to fight on the same bill as the likes of Joshua Buatsi, Tyler Denny and Lauren Price at Resorts World Arena.
The card takes place on Saturday, May 6 and will be Quartermaine’s first fight since a unanimous points victory against Lithuanian lightweight Simas Volosinas.
And the main event pits destructive light heavyweight Buatsi (16-0, 13 KO) against Poland’s Pawel Stepien (18-0-1, 12 KO) with the British fighter on the verge of a world title shot.
