LEAMINGTON’S George Mouzakitis is fighting for the International Muaythai Council (IMC) world title in his hometown next month.

The bout is the sport’s first-ever world title fight to take place in Leamington with the action to unfold at the Royal Spa Centre on Saturday, July 15.

Mouzakitis (28-2), is a two-time European champion, and will fight Slovakia’s Lukas Mandinec for the super lightweight (63.5kg) title.

And five other local prospects – Myles Mouzakitis, Taren Aujla and Mason Davies (all Leamington) and Oli Milner and Killian Cable (both Warwick) – will fight on the undercard,

All five fighters train at Aces Gym in Leamington under the guidance of Sam Mouzakitis and Luke Dewsbery.

Doors open at 3pm with the first fight to start at 4pm.
