Star Trek fans set to meet RSC associate Sir Patrick Stewart at NEC

SIR Patrick Stewart has been announced as the latest guest for Destination Star Trek at the NEC – Europe’s official Star Trek Convention.

The stage, television, and film actor, who started his career at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon, is making a very special appearance on Saturday October 26 to talk about new series Star Trek: Picard which premiers next January 24 on Amazon Prime.

Sir Patrick will be reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation. The new series will follow this popular character into the next chapter of his life.

He will be joining castmate Brent Spiner and other Star Trek fan favorites such as George Takei, Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, LeVar Burton and many more.




Tickets for his appearance in the main theatre are limited.

Destination Star Trek will take place from October 25 to 27, featuring four stages and guest appearances from more than 30 stars from the long-running sci-fi series.


Fans will be able to participate in professional photo shoots with guest actors, make-up photo shoots, a board gaming zone, visit The Star Trek Museum, talk panels and queue up for autographs.
