FESTIVE fun and fund-raising will be on the agenda for participants in the annual Reindeer Run in aid of Myton Hospices.
The charity wants youngsters to ‘step into Christmas’ and get their festive season off to a flying start.
The Reindeer Run can be done over any distance and at any time with the main aim of raising as much sponsorship as possible.
Myton also wants to hear from schools, nurseries and parent/toddler groups across the region to sign up and help put the fun into fund-raising this yuletide.
Other cash generators being suggested include non-uniform/Christmas jumper days, Christmas bake sales or collections at Nativity plays, Christmas concerts and festive raffles for friends and families.
Everyone taking part in the campaign and hosting a Reindeer Run will also be able to enjoy a Christmas crossword and the chance to colour in their very own Rudolph antlers/nose – all included in the special fund-raising pack for those who sign up.
Clare Cropp, Myton’s Fund-raising Manager, said: “Christmas is such a special time for everyone and we’re delighted to be offering this fun new campaign to not only get people into the festive spirit, but to do something really special for all the people and families we care for here at Myton at what is such a precious time for them too.
“There are so many ways you can get involved and help us and we can’t wait to hear all about the fun you’ve been having taking part.”
