MERRYMAKERS welcomed a little lockdown respite as thick snow descended on Warwickshire at the weekend.
The region was blanketed in snow on Sunday following yellow weather warnings and plummeting temperatures across the UK.
Scores of snowmen and enchanting wintery scenes added a sparkle to the daily exercise routines of households patiently waiting out the third national lockdown.
And the fun continued today (Monday) as many schools remain closed to key worker pupils, while a yellow ice warning is still in place.
