A 71-YEAR-old man from Leamington will appear before court next month after CCTV footage of a cat being attacked was circulated.
The man was interviewed by police on Monday (October 16) and will appear before Magistrates in Warwick on November 10.
In court he will face a charge of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
