RACING Club Warwick suffered a quarter-final exit in the UCL Cup following a 1-0 defeat away at Skegness Town.

Declan Johnson scored the game’s only goal shortly after half time at Vertigo Stadium while Warwick had Cameron Ebbutt sent off late on.

United Counties League Premier Division North side Skegness took the lead on 51 minutes when Johnson latched onto a flick-on before coolly finding the bottom right corner.

And Warwick midfielder Ebbutt received a straight red card five minutes from time after he lunged in to a tackle with force.

The Racers are next in action away at St Neots Town on Saturday, March 2 with kick-off at 3pm at Kester Way.
