Applications open for Leamington Town Council's community grants fund

APPLICATIONS are now open for the latest round of community grants from Leamington Town Council.

The Community Grant Funding Programme for 2026/27 opened on Wednesday (April 1) with £58,000 set to be distributed across three funding rounds.

Grants of up to £2,000 will be available to support local groups and organisations delivering projects that benefit the community.

More than £48,000 was awarded to local community organisations in 2025/26, helping to fund a wide range of initiatives across Leamington.

Applications for this year’s programme will be considered across three rounds, with deadlines of Friday May 15, Friday August 14 and Friday December 4.

Leamington mayor Coun Ruggy Singh said: “We are proud to announce that our Community Grant Fund has increased this year to £58,000. This will provide more opportunities for local non-profit organisations and community groups to secure funding to support them in 2026/27.

“The deadline for the first funding round is May 15, so I encourage organisations to visit our website, check their eligibility and apply for funding.”

Local groups seeking guidance or support with their community grant applications are invited to attend a free “How To” Workshop on Saturday April 18 from 11am until 1pm at The SYDNI Centre.

The session will offer practical advice on completing applications and understanding the funding criteria.
