Residents asked for views on adult social care

Leamington Editorial 18th Jun, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

RESIDENTS are being asked for their thoughts on adult social care.

Warwickshire County Council staff will be talking to people about their experiences as part of a county-wide review next week.

The council wants to engage with people who receive care services at home or use residential and nursing care services and these customers will be contacted to find out what they think of current services and how things can be improved.

The council is also looking to speak with unpaid carers to find out more about the support they receive and the help they need.

The adult social care focus week will be a chance to reach out to these hidden carers asking for them to come forward and find out more about the help they are entitled to.

Questionnaires will be available at GP surgeries and pharmacies and staff will be at hospitals, residential homes and nursing care homes to speak with people who use the services.
