VOLUNTEERS are needed to help clean the Grand Union Canal in Leamington.
The Inland Waterways Association (IWA) and Canal and River Trust are inviting people to help them drag rubbish out of the canal on Sunday March 19.
The cleaning team will meet on the towpath at Warwick Old Road, opposite Morrisons, at 9.30am to distribute equipment and give a safety briefing before starting at 10am.
All equipment and gloves will be provided and volunteers are advised to wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing.
Anyone is welcome but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
