AN EPIC work of art has been recreated by Warwick pupils.
The ‘Field’ is an installation of more than 1,200 individual clay figures displayed in the chapel at Warwick School.
It was inspired by the work of British sculptor Sir Antony Gormley – creator of the Angel of the North.
He created the first ‘Field’ in 1989 which consisted of 1,1000 figures to signify individualism and unity. He went on to produce more with help from communities across the globe.
And to spread the message, staff and students at the school each made a figure to add to their own display, which represents diversity and community spirit.
