ASPIRING adventurers at Princethorpe School got to meet a bona fide explorer, author and film-maker.
Award-winning Matt Dickinson talked to year nine pupils and and sixth form geography students about his experiences of travelling to some of the most remote and dangerous places in the world.
Known for his documentaries on the Discovery channel, National Geographic and the BBC, Matt was one of the first people to reach the summit of Mount Everest with a video camera. His subsequent film, Summit Fever, has now been seen by more than 20million people worldwide.
He spent his day at the school talking about his experiences, and hoping to encourage a new generation of inquisitive go-getters to follow their passions.
