Man arrested following firearm incident in Stratford which left teenager injured

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a teenager was injured when a firearm was discharged in Stratford.

Police were called to Brookside Road at around 4am on Monday December 4 after being alerted by West Midlands Ambulance Service which had been called to treat a 17-year-old boy with a leg injury.

Officers arrested an 18-year-old man in Bristol on Friday. The man, from Leicester, remains in police custody.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses.




Det Insp Tim Sharp from Warwickshire Police said: “We are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries into this incident and I would like to appeal to anyone who has any information which could help our investigation to come forward.”
