A CENTENARY Remembrance Service was held to honour the Warwickshire Royal Horse Artillery Territorial Force on Saturday.
Around 200 people attended the service at Midland Oak Park in Leamington, which had been organised by Friends of Midland Oak Park supported by Warwick District Council.
The WRHA, which served in France, Flanders and Germany, was the first volunteer artillery battery to engage in active service in the First World War.
Those who attended included two cousins, from Coleshill and Coventry respectively, who came to honour their grandfather. They had not seen each other for 20 years and did not know one anther was going to the service.
