SPA Striders athletes were out in force again last weekend at home and abroad.
Lucy Marcovitch made her return to marathon racing in Dublin with a fantastic time of 4 hours 24 minutes 45 seconds.
As well as the incredible Irish support on the course, she was cheered on by ‘Strider Super Supporters’ Ves and Nigel.
Closer to home five Striders travelled to Redditch for the inaugural Kingfisher 10k which was not as flat as had been expected by the participants.
Jason Hemming led the team home in a great time of 41 mins 23 secs followed by Mark Robbins 44 mins 40 secs, Paul Quinney 44 mins 41 secs, Lucy Walton 53 mins 28 secs and Jacqui Quinney 54 mins 13 secs.
Elsewhere, Elena Simpson continued her return to racing in Leicester at the half marathon, finishing in 1 hr 55 mins 38 secs.
