Ignite to make artistic return to Leamington

Leamington Editorial 12th Jun, 2023   0

A SUMMER social event for the arts sector in Warwick district is set to get the creative juices flowing.

Warwick District Council’s Arts Section is inviting the area’s creative community to join them for Ignite.

Taking place on Thursday July 13, from 6.30pm at the Royal Pump Rooms, Leamington, the event will include performances, installations, exhibitions, and live music, with work from Sonrisa Arts, Motionhouse, James Braddell, and Gayatri Pasricha.

Those attending can also enjoy exclusive after-hours access to Leamington Art Gallery and Museum’s new exhibition Water, water, everywhere….

WDC’s arts spokesperson Coun Ella Billiald said: “With a theme of neon and palm trees, this free event is all about making time for networking, finding out about exciting projects happening in 2023 and enjoying local art in a summer party setting. I look forward to seeing you there.”

Tickets to Ignite 2023 are free, but attendees are encouraged to donate £5 to local charity The Myton Hospices – which supports people living with a terminal illness and their families from the point of diagnosis to the end of life.
