ARMONICO Consort is starting its new concert season this weekend.
The critically acclaimed choir and instrumental ensemble, based in Warwick, will be launching its brand new programme The French Connection on Saturday (September 30) at St Mary’s Church.
The evening promises to be filled with music from the French Baroque period – incorporating some of the world’s finest composers.
Founder and artistic director Christopher Monks said:”For 21 years I have been really looking forward to doing a concert like this one. We’ve never done a French programme before, so it’s going to be a special one.”
The performance starts at 7.30pm.
