Crafters can sharpen their skills at spoon carving workshop

CRAFTY folk can sharpen their skills at a spoon carving course at Leamington’s Foundry Wood.

The workshop takes place on Saturday (May 12) from 1pm to 4pm at the outdoor classroom on Princes Drive.

It will cover range of topics from carving with green wood and tree identification to pruning and tool sharpening.

Equipment and tea and coffee is provided and participants can take away their very own spoon.

The session is suitable for children 14 and over but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are priced £15 and booking is essential.

The workshop is repeated on June 2, August 18 and September 22.
