5. Sicily- Italy
Sicily has long distinguished itself from the rest of Italy, and if you visit there, it’s not hard to see how and why. 7. Corsica- France
Homeland of the infamous Napoleon Bonaparte, Corsica is very different from most other French destinations. This difference comes mainly from the fact that Corsica was not always French but was also once Italian soil.
