A TASTE of Turkey can now be enjoyed in the heart of Leamington.
Otto Kitchen offers authentic Turkish cuisine with a clever contemporary twist.
The chic and modern, but as importantly comfortable, Regent Street restaurant serves Mediterranean and Anatolian-inspired dishes and it is clear from the moment the first plate arrives that this is a kitchen which has pride in its food.
For starters we enjoyed pan cooked prawns, served to perfection in a rich tomato and garlic sauce, together with a superb and generous sharing platter containing mixed hot appetisers, including calamari, spicy beef sausages, falafel, and cheesy pastry rolls.
The mains which followed were no less impressive. A wrapped chicken beyti was served in a delicious bread with couscous and salad, while a classic chicken shish was a reminder of why Turkish cuisine remains as popular as ever.
There is also an extensive drinks menu, including cocktails, and we can heartily recommend the Virgin Mojito.
Service was second to none – attentive without being intrusive.
And at a time when the cost-of-living crisis is hitting many households, Otto Kitchen certainly offers value for money.
I definitely felt like we were on our holidays while dining in Otto Kitchen, but fortunately, being on the doorstep, I don’t need to board a plane to enjoy a true taste of Turkey.
