Abseil down Coventry Cathedral in aid of Myton Hospice

Laura Kearns 30th Sep, 2018

ADRENALINE junkies are invited to take part in an abseil down Coventry Cathedral to raise money for Myton Hospice.

The charity is holding its first abseil event on Saturday October 13 when more than 100 daring fund-raisers will be going over the top.

Hospice events manager Rebecca Richards said: “This year we are very excited to be holding our first ever abseil and we can’t wait to bring this event to the city of Coventry.

“We are hoping to raise £35,000 which will fund recruitment, training and salary of a nurse for one year to provide care for people living with a terminal illness and their families.

“Coventry is home to one of our hospices and is very close to our hearts.

“Many people will have been touched by Myton either themselves or through someone they know and we need your support to help more.”

Registration costs £20 and everyone who signs up is asks to raise a minimum of £200 sponsorship.
