CASH raised from Kenilworth’s Advent Calendar has been handed out to a host of good causes.
Kenilworth Rotary Club’s president David Morgan handed cheques to five of the town’s charities at a ceremony at the Senior Citizens Club.
The ceremony concluded the 2023 Advent Calendar project which raised over £15,000 by selling over 3,300 calendars.
Charities receiving funds were The Waverley Centre, Myton Hospice, The Kenilworth Centre, Compassionate Kenilworth, and Talisman Theatre.
And the Kenilworth Advent Calendar for 2024 is just about to begin. The new project leader, rotarian Steve Krikler, will lead a team to produce an even better advent calendar to support the needs of Kenilworth.
