THEY’RE preparing for all sort of apple fun fun down on the farm this weekend.
Canalside Community Food, based in Radford Semele, are welcoming people to celebrate the autumn harvest on October 11 and 12, from noon to 6pm.
The free event will feature hands-on apple pressing, juicing and bobbing, and of course, apple juice tasting.
Older participants can also enjoy a farm cider or other alcoholic tipples, while lentil fritters will be on the menu and there will be home-made cakes for sale and even old fashioned toffee apples!!
Young apprentice apple-pressers and bobbers will be rewarded with lucky dip prizes and certificates.
