Archbishop visits school in Leamington

Ian Hughes 28th Jan, 2018

THE ARCHBISHOP of Birmingham Bernard Longley recently dropped in at Trinity Catholic School in Leamington.

His Grace spoke to pupils about the importance of community, friendship and trust, and the role they have in making their lives and the lives of others better.

The Archbishop also blessed and dedicated the school library to former librarian Kathy Hardaker-Jones with her daughter Seanna Holland, present.

He had lunch at the school with staff, governors and the student chaplaincy team.

Head Chris Gabbett said: ‘We are so honoured to have His Grace devote a whole day to our community.

“Birmingham is a huge Archdiocese, and we were very excited when he accepted our invitation. I was really happy to see the way he engaged with our students and so vocally supported our mission here.”
