Artistic youngsters take over telephone box

Leamington Editorial 23rd Jul, 2024   0

ARTISTIC youngsters have taken over a telephone box in Leamington.

Known as Art Box, the traditional red box was renovated in 2021 by Leamington Town Council and is now managed by the Friends of Christchurch Gardens as a miniature art gallery.

It displays art from local schools and community groups and housed its first exhibition in June 2021.

And pupils from the town’s Clapham Terrace Primary School are the latest to show off their work – depicting the things that inspire and motivate them in life – in the listed box which stands on Clarendon Avenue at the top of the Parade.
