A MOTORCYCLIST had to be airlifted to hospital after a crash with a car near Gaydon.
Emergency services including the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance were called to Banbury Road around 8.25am on Thursday (January 28).
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a car and a motorcycle that had been in a significant collision.
“The motorcyclist, believed to be in his mid 20s, suffered multiple serious injuries. He received emergency trauma care at the scene by medics and was airlifted to University Hospital in Coventry.
“The woman driving the car, also believed to be in her early 20s, was treated at the scene for the effects of shock. She did not require hospital treatment.”
