BOOZY prizes have been pouring in for Kenilworth Advent Calendar.
The advent calendar with a difference – which features prize-winning numbers behind each door – has been inundated with donations from local businesses, especially bottles of Christmas cheer.
The Ale Rooms in Smally Place has donated two vouchers worth £30 apiece to spend on its products.
The Virgins and Castle in High Street has donated a bottle of its Festive Gin which retails for £40.
Over in New Street, Aaron, who runs The Royal Oak, has donated £50 to spend on anything liquid in his stock.
And finally, East Chase Distillers, Kenilworth’s brand-new artisan distillery in Chase Lane, has donated two bottles of its Heritage London Dry Gin, which retails at £40 a bottle.
All the cash raised from sales of the advent calendar will go to Kenilworth charities and 3,500 copies have been printed this year.
