THE CAUSE of death of two women whose bodies were found in Leamington is still unknown.

Police forced entry to a home on Binswood Street at 2pm on Monday (June 25) at around 2pm after concern was raised for the occupants.

They found the bodies of what are believed to be a 38-year-old woman and 55-year-old woman.

Recent post mortems have been ‘inconclusive’ and now officers are waiting on the results of toxicology tests.

Officers are calling for anyone with information to contact them.

Det Insp Liam Barry said: “This is a tragic incident and specially trained officers will be supporting the families of the deceased.

“Our thoughts are with both families at this difficult time and I would ask for their privacy to be respected.

“I would like to thank local people for their support with our investigation to date. Enquiries are ongoing and I’d urge anyone with information to call.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101.
