Coventry man charged in connection with thefts in Leamington, Warwick and Rugby

A COVENTRY man has been charged in connection with a spate of burglaries and vehicle thefts in Leamington, Warwick, Rugby and elsewhere.

Dale Melia, 24, is accused of 14 offences which took place across three counties over the past four months.

Melia, of Grantham Road, Coventry, has been charged with seven counts of burglary, five counts of theft of motor vehicle, one count of driving while disqualified and one count of driving without insurance.

He appeared at Warwick Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday March 29) and was remanded to appear at Warwick Crown Court on May 2.
