CRACKING Easter activities are lined-up at Charlecote Park.
Visitors to the National Trust property near Wellesbourne are invited to hop along the Easter trail and discover ten fun activities for the whole family.
There are nature-inspired games, wheelbarrow races, a bunny drive, agility course, dominoes and much more, all set within the gardens of the home to the Fairfax-Lucy family.
The trail runs between 9am and 5pm and includes an Easter trail sheet and bunny ears, and those who successfully make it all the way round may find the Easter hens have laid a little egg – a chocolate egg that is.
Charlecote Park spokesperson Priya Kikiben Chauhan said: “While following the Easter trail, don’t forget to explore the rest of the Charlecote estate, including the stunning parkland designed by ‘Capability’ Brown, with free roaming fallow deer. There’s also the unique Tudor/Victorian house, where welcoming volunteers will be on hand to lead you through over 900 years of history, as well as our most recent display, the ‘Library of Memories’. ”
The trail runs until April 27 and costs £3.50 per person.
