A CHRISTMAS-loving fundraiser has raised almost £1,000 for charity thanks to a festive lights display in his Cubbington garden.
Joe Meade has raised £943 so far on his Just Giving site by erecting a QR code in his front garden in Blackberry Way for donations to Cancer Research UK.
Passers by and neighbours have been incredibly generous with many still donating.
He even received a notification from Just Giving saying he was among the top 15 per cent of fundraisers in December.
Joe has been lighting up his house for the last three years and this year was the biggest illumination yet, with at least 30 sets of Christmas lights.
And this was the first year he decided to do it for charity.
He lost his dad four years ago to bowel cancer and decided to raise funds for CRUK in his memory.
