Defibrillator donated to Myton Hospice

HEARTS were racing after a donation of lifesaving equipment was made to Warwick-based Myton Hospice.

Charities Evelyn’s Gift and Warwickshire Hearts donated a defibrillator to the hospice charity which cares for those with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Myton staff across the county have also received free CPR and defibrillator training from Warwickshire Hearts which teaches and promotes life-saving training.

It was the latest fund-raising initiative from Myton pupils who have previously given back to the community by visiting nursing homes.

Pupil Tom Freail said: “While we packed bags we chatted to people asking them how they were going to spend their weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed raising money for Myton Hospices and spending time with members of the community.”
