A DEVOTED couple from Southam celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary back where it all began.
Janet and Brian Hartshorne were married 60 years ago on April 4 1964. The wedding ceremony took place at St Mary Magdelene Church in Lillington and then they had their wedding reception at Victoria House in Leamington.
And to celebrate the major milestone, they threw a party for family and friends at Victoria House six decades later.
The couple set up home in Lillington after they were married and went on to have three children – Martin and identical twins Delia and Debra.
They lived and worked in Leamington all of their married lives until a recent move to be near their daughters near Southam.
