A BIG dog with an even bigger heart is keeping his paws crossed to find love this Valentine’s Day.
Despite his name, Titch is a large dog who is hoping for a home to call his own.
The six year-old American Bulldog has been waiting for months at the Dogs Trust in Kenilworth to find an owner, but continues to be overlooked by visitors.
The clever pup is doing well at training, loves playing fetch and enjoying cuddles with his canine carers.
Now staff are hoping he will be whisked off to his forever home on the most romantic day of the year.
Rehoming centre manager Sandra Foulds said: “All of us at the centre adore Titch as he is such a special lad with a huge heart and a lot of love to give. He’s a super dog with a fantastic personality but we think people are put off by his size. He walks well on a lead but is a large, powerful dog who needs regular exercise and stimulation so it is important we find owners who understand the demands of owning a dog of this size and are in a position to offer him a life-long commitment.
“Titch would benefit from a family of experienced dog owners, especially of larger breeds.”

Titch is looking for an adult-only home where he is the only dog and will be able to get lots of exercise.
